Understanding nervous imbalance
Your nervous system runs on two settings: an alert mode that mobilises you for action, and a rest mode that repairs, digests, and restores. Modern life leans hard on the first one. Long stretches of stress, irregular sleep, and constant stimulation can leave the alert mode stuck on, so the body keeps producing tension it never gets to release. The result is that strange mix of exhaustion and restlessness — a heart that races over nothing, muscles that twitch, sleep that never feels deep enough.
None of this means something is broken. It means the system has lost its rhythm and needs help finding it again.
How our therapies help
Chinese Meridian therapy works along the body's traditional energy pathways, using sustained hands-on contact to smooth the flow that stress has disrupted; recipients often feel a wave of warmth and heaviness as the body downshifts. Neuro-Muscular Therapy addresses the physical side of the loop — the chronically tight muscles that keep feeding tension signals back to the brain — releasing them so the nervous system stops receiving a constant alarm.
Wheel of Time Healing rounds out the plan by focusing on rhythm itself: the daily and seasonal cycles your body is designed to follow. By pacing sessions and guidance around those cycles, it helps re-establish the natural alternation between effort and rest. Over a course of sessions, the aim is simple and profound — a body that can switch off when the day is done.
Questions we are asked
What does a session feel like?+−
Sessions are calm and unhurried. You'll rest comfortably while the therapist works along meridian lines and areas of nerve-muscle tension. Most people describe a deep, drowsy relaxation — many doze off.
How soon will I notice a change?+−
Better sleep and a quieter mind often appear within the first few sessions. A full course of 6–10 sessions gives the nervous system time to hold that steadier state on its own.
When should I see a doctor?+−
If you experience fainting, chest pain, sudden severe tremors, or numbness that spreads or persists, please consult a physician first. Our therapies support nervous system balance but are not a substitute for medical diagnosis.
