What are Marma Immune Waves?
Marma Immune Waves is a gentle wellness technique that joins two traditions: marma therapy from Ayurveda, and wave-like rhythmic stimulation developed within KiLiK practice. The marma points are vital spots scattered across the body — places where muscles, joints, nerves, and energy channels converge. Ayurveda has mapped and worked with these points for centuries.
In a session, the practitioner applies light pressure or soft tapping to these points in flowing, rhythmic sequences. The movements are deliberately wave-like, echoing the way energy naturally travels through the body. Combined with steady breathing, this rhythm helps restore balance, support inner healing, and awaken the body's own defence systems.
Why it is used
The therapy is chosen most often for immunity and recovery. Stimulating the vital energy points is a natural way to rouse the body's defences, while the calm, repetitive rhythm settles the nervous system and eases stress. Circulation improves as energy flow spreads across the body, carrying warmth and vitality with it.
It is equally valued for the mind. The pairing of movement and breath draws attention into the present, which is why regular sessions are often recommended for people recovering from illness, prolonged fatigue, or emotional burnout — situations where body and mind need rebuilding together.
A practice for many stages of life
Because the touch is so light, Marma Immune Waves suits a wide range of people: working adults under sustained pressure, seniors who need gentle energy support, and wellness seekers already practising yoga or Ayurveda who want a complementary hands-on ritual. It asks nothing of you during the session except to breathe and receive — which is precisely what makes it restorative.
What a session looks like
- 1
Settling the breath
The session opens with slow, guided breathing that quiets the nervous system and prepares the body to respond to gentle touch.
- 2
Locating the marma points
The practitioner works along the vital marma points — junctions where muscles, joints, nerves, and energy channels meet.
- 3
Wave-like stimulation
Light pressure and soft tapping motions move rhythmically across the points, mimicking natural energy waves through the body.
- 4
Integration and rest
The session closes with a few minutes of stillness, letting circulation, breath, and energy settle into their new rhythm.
